1 A Grain of Sand

12" x 24" Mixed media assemblage. Leather, wood, acrylic on canvas.
Cut and formed leather and wood buttons assembled on canvas and painted with acrylic.
Purpose: Sand sings when walked on or when wind passes over the dunes.
Pathways and obstacles and much more to see. A single grain of sand stares right back at me. Taking one footstep and then another moving away hurdles while hiding deep within the furrows.
